Origins of Monist thought
I am interested in finding references in Hindu scriptures to justify
Advaita, the belief that the souls of people become one with the Supreme
Being. What I want to do is start a thread wherein we try to determine if
both Advaita and Dvaita motifs are present in our scriptures or if one is
just an interpretation, so let's keep all replies posted to this group. Quotes
from scriptures are definitely welcome, but please also specify the translation
from which you are reading from.
