Request for Information
Dear Mr. Shah,
For the past few years I have been ardently studying the Hindu scriptures
as part of a personal quest for spiritual development and enlightenment.
Could/would you please advise me of any Internet bulletin boards or
discussin groups where I have serious & meaningful discussion on topics
of religion, philosophy and history? I have read the Bhagavad Gita, some
Upanishads and various Vedic extracts, but I am largely ignorant of Hindu
culture, history and religion. Since one can only get so much from
books, I am now looking or knowledgeable individuals with which to
discuss such topics.
As for me, I was reared as a Western Christian, but have come to accept
Lord Krishna, YaWeh (judeo/Christian "I AM"), and Allah as one and the
same. Thus, I wish to expand my knowledge and appreciation of the
universality and commonality of Deity.
Please advise contacts. Also, do you know where I might be able to find
Hindu scriptures on the Internet as shareware or freeware versions? I
would like to download these to do comparisons with the Bible, Talmud &
Koran.
Thank you for any help you can give me. Also note, I am very new to the
Internet and have not yet learned how to navigate around and examine the
wealth of information and people on the net.
