I downloaded a picture of "Madurai Meenakshi Amman" (from the
source http://www.isc.tamu.edu/~msr/meenakshi.gif) and was astonished
beacuse of a certain resemblance.
Could any of you give some background about this Goddess - who she
is related to, what special function she has, related scriptures etc.?
