India - Three Held For BJP Leader's Murder





THREE HELD FOR NAYAK MURDER

Bombay: The police today claimed to have solved the Ramdas Nayak murder case
with the recent arrest of three key men. Firoz Kokni, Rizwan Syed Mohammed
Ibrahim and Salim.

  While Firoz, who was arrested in Bangalore on Monday, is believed to be one
of the two men who shot the BJP leader, Rizwan, who was arrested on Tuesday
from the Lokhandwala Complex in north Bombay, is said to be the link man and
cashier of the group. The two have been remanded to police custody till Nov.17.

  The third, Salim, allegedly drove the killers in a white car to the BJP
leader's Bandra residence on August 25. He was arrested yesterday from Sangame-
shwar in Ratnagiri district.

   The three allegedly confessed that they had been paid Rs 10 lakh for the
contract kiling by Chhota Shakeel, a henchman of Dawood Ibrahim.
