Another book that is particularly good in this regard is
_Readings in Vedic Literature_ written by Satsvarupa Dasa Gosvami.
It very clearly explains the bias which motivated Westerners into
claiming that Vedic civilization was much younger than the records
indicate... the same bias which caused them to declare the Vedic
religion to be superstitious and polytheistic!
Of course, for anyone who actually reads the scriptures, it ought
to be pretty obvious that these Western pseudo-scholars are full
of nonsense.
