Dr Prasun K. De in Los Angeles is the creator and distributor of an
excellent (very elegant) set of Devanagari (and Bengali) fonts for the
Macintosh and for Windows. The keyboard layout is designed for
efficiency of typing (taking finger position and frequency of letter
usage into account) and the font ia a TrueType and therefore scaleable
laser font that can be printed in all styles supported by your Windows
or Macintosh Wordprocessor. The font is priced at $100 per set, and
if you are a student, working with these languages, there is a
concessional price of $65 per font. (Further need-based concessions are
available.) The proceeds are donated to the Sri Aurobindo Center of
Los Angeles. For a copy of the keyboard layout and a sample of the
