Dear Gaurahari,

Sorry but I don't actually see the relevance of your comments to the
original question about sin. I understand the rule of karma and its
mechanism via samskara on our progress through our lives. I don't
think it is useful to talk about 'good' and 'bad' in respect of this
however. In order to divest ourselves of our accumulated samskara
(vasanas) we need to practise *right* action, which is action purely
in response to the needs of the moment without any thought for the
outcome, good or bad, whether for ourselves or for others. If the ego
is absent and manas and buddhi are functioning correctly, then this
will happen naturally. Joy and pain are of no consequence to the Self,
established in eternal bliss.

Regards,

Dennis
