I am a Hindu living somewhere in this Christin dominated society
in Cincinnati Ohio. People are saying that Christin religon is one of
the oldest religons in the world. Well I always reply that Hindism is
THE OLDEST religion in the world and is the second biggest only second to
the religon of Islam. When I tell them that I am a Hindu usally they
don't know what one is. My question how do other people deal with this
problem? Also how old is Hinduism? I have heard esimates from 10,000 to
25,000 years? Does anyone know how long this religon has been around?
Also because I was born and raised in America I never learned the
language of Hindi. I know how to talk in Grujati, but I can't read it.
Does anyone know of any Hinduism books that have been translated into
English some I can learn more about Hinduism?
Thanks,
