Yes, and Jesus says "I have so much more to tell you, but you do not
have the ears to hear it" in Book of John in the New Testament. Similarly,
Judaism also recognizes that God only chooses to reveal Himself to them through
indirect symbols like burning bushes. When Mohammed goes to see Allah in the
QUran, Allah waits behind a curtain, telling Mohammed that he is not ready to see
Him. It's understood that God only chooses to reveal himself partially outside
of the scope of the Vedas (which are the full knowledge).
By giving the Judeo-Christian level of understanding equal footing with the Vedic
tradition is a pretty shaky idea, and only seeks to discredit very clear,
personalistic statements in the Vedas, such as most of the Isopanisad.
