I am interested in a discussion along the lines of Dinesh Agarawal's ideas
on the origin of the caste system, and Sati?
Specifically, if Aryan Invasion Theory (AIT) is not correct, as I think, then
how did the caste system evolve from an equal society, and how did the Shudras
come to accept the lower position without force? How did Sati evolve? What
is the rationale for it? What caused the hindu society to become vegetarian?
Please define the terms like mahabharata etc. as you go along. Thanks.
