Brahmo Samaj
Does anyone know something about the hindu-christian reform
movement Brahmo Samaj (BS) and its activities in the 1890's. I'm
writing an essay on a Swedish theist, Karl Hammargren, who died
in Calcutta 1894. He had been a member of the movement since 1886.
Rabindranath Tagore has written that Hammargren's name was inscribed
in a BS-temple. Is there really such a thing as a BS-temple in
Calcutta?
