I disagree; I consider 700 years to be close to 1,000.

Where did you get your edition?
Here is verse 117 of the edition I am using:
"Let those whose intellect has been killed by their envy find
fault and refuse to see any good in this work. Those practiced
in seeing the good in others will not see any fault, and it is
for those saintly persons that this book will be most pleasing."
