In article <3um2qh$r4j@babbage.ece.uc.edu>, Lokeswara Rao <lokes@selway.umt.edu> says:
>We, on our own initiative came down to earth to participate in the
>creative process which god willed. But once on earth, we formed our own will
>(i.e. desire) instead of being in sync with the will of god. This created
>the chain that is binding us to earth - our past karma.
This sounds consistent with the idea I've heard, stating
that our first birth upon entering the material world is
that of Brahmaji, the engineer of the universes. He is of
course a highly elevated and spiritually advanced devotee.
But as there are accidents even on royal roads in a world
in which we enjoy at our own risk, we blew it.
Anyone want to comment on this?
