Sunday, August 6, through Sunday, August 13, 1995

GENERAL INFORMATION

**********************

Lectures, classes, workshops will be in Aztec Center in these rooms: 
Montezuma (our main hall), Backdoor, Council, Calmecac, and Chantico.  
Videos are shown all day in Presidential, titles/times will be posted 
there.  Council meetings of VUNA, VI, IVU: In Aztlan (lower level, 
Aztec).

Montezuma is on the main level of Aztec Center, as are the Festival Book 
Room and Exhibits Room.  All other meeting rooms are on the lower level. 
 Cooking Classes are in Tula, near Zura.

Festival Registration Badge is the only ticket to educational sessions, 
and use of  any applicable campus facilities.  Registrants must wear 
badges at all times.

This program is up-to-date as of press time, but subject to changes as 
announced at evening sessions or posted on the notice board.

Video and Audio Tapes are made of selected presentations, and they may be 
e ordered in the Book Room.  To avoid distractions to the speakers and 
audience, and due to copyrighted material, we regret that no other video 
or audio taping can be permitted.

Education Program is open to the general public, on a daily-free or 
single-session ticket basis.  See Registration Table staff (main floor, 
Aztec) for tickets.

Festival Registrants and general public may visit free the following 
areas:

Festival Book Room (Casa Real, main floor, Aztec Center).  Open daily: 
12:15 - 1:45 PM, 4:50-7PM, 9-10 PM.  Saturday, August 12: 12:15 -5:15 PM 
only.  Sunday, August 13: 8:30 AM - 12:00 Noon.

Festival Exhibits are in the Peiffer, Quiet, and Montezuma Lounges (main 
floor, Aztec Center), and will be open at times posted.

Festival Children’s Center.  For ages 2-12, during educational sessions 
only.  Each parent spends at least one session helping in the center.

Vegan Festival meals: dining hall - West Commons Building.  Served:  
Breakfast: 7:30 - 8:30 AM; Lunch 12:30 - 1:30 PM; dinner 5:00 - 6:00 PM. 
 Your meal ticket lets you into the dining room.  Treat it as you would 
cash.

Special Charter Bus Visit to Tijuana is an extra-cost option (about $20) 
Wednesday afternoon.  Please book your ticket on arrival at Festival, or 
as soon after as possible: see staff at registration table.  U.S. 
residents should have identification such as driver’s license, etc.  
Foreign visitors require multiple-entry visa for return to U.S.A. from 
Mexico.

Daily Activities:  Monday August 7 through Sunday August 13 - Brisk Walk 
from 6:30 - 7:30 AM (Start from Zura).  Yoga from 7:00 to 7:45 AM (Tula).

Athletic Facilities: Swimming Pool (Outside, Zura Residence complex).  
Festival hours with lifeguard are from 1:30 - 5:30 PM, Sunday, August 6 
through Saturday, August 12.  Please do not swim at other times, or when 
lifeguard is not present.  Do not swim alone.  Children should always be 
accompanied by adult.  Jogging will be enjoyed on this beautiful campus. 
 Registrants may also use the Tennis Courts.  Some are lighted.  Exercise 
Room and Weight Room are available, on a per-use fee basis.
