Hi netters,
A few days back I came across a newspaper article which said
that the hindus believe that the universe came into existence from a
'primeval being with thousand hands, thousand eyes and thousand
heads'. This being was called Hiranyagarbha ( golden foetus ?)
and it sacrificed itself to create the universe. Can anyone
provide more information on this?
Thanx
