Sorry. 

I regret having been the vehicle for anyone's confusion. Sic in that 
post to which Pai refers was employed for two reasons: to show the 
title is TRANSLATION, in big letters, and also to imply that in my view 
what follows that word is not a translation. By that I mean that the 
English presented for 4:24 is, in my view, a commentary. I've studied 
Swamiji's Geetaa for years, and that verse still seems to me to be far 
too editorialized. It is for the most part not what the Sanskrit means,
but rather what Swami believes it will lead to if you embrace His 
theology.

That ain't translation', that's commenting. I say that since I find not 
one word in Swamiji's `translation' of 4:24 that accurately mirrors the 
Sanskrit.  Even His `word for word' suffers that fate.  I however do
not mind if others accept His word as gospel truth.

I trust this clears all doubt as to why sic was used.
