What happened to Brahma, Hiranyagarbha, Prajapati, etc.? Do the early
Vedic texts mention the Supreme God as Vishnu? Vishnu was never prominent
in the early Vedas. It was only until the later Vedic period that Vishnu
began to gain in prominence.
