Therefore always perform without attachment what
should be done, in a spirit of consecration. The
person whose work is sanctified attains the
  supreme truth.
                -Bhagavad Geetaa 3:19
-----------------------------------------------

I am familiar with only a few Purana, and so when I hear others asserting
what
is and is not in Purana, I tend to listen carefully and then investigate
directly. I am aware of 18 chief Puranas and 18 Upapuranas and another 18
Upaupa Purana. The ones I consider most important are

              Brahma Puranam
                 Padma Puranam
                    Vishnu Puranam
                      Siva Puranam
                        Bhagavatha Puranam
                          Naradha Puranam
                            Markendeya Puranam
                              Agni Puranam
                                Bhavishya Puranam
                                   Linga Puranam
                                     Varaha Puranam
                                       Skantha Puranam
                                          Vamana Puranam
                                            Koorm Puranam
                                              Machya Puranam
                                                Garuda Puranam
                                                  Brahmanda Puranam

In Bhagavatha Purana I believe there were 21 avatars mentioned, however, HK
Susarla, Nathan Parker and others have on various occasions advised several
fora that Buddha, Chaitanya and Jesus are detailed in Bhavishya Purana. They
say they have seen text there saying Jesus is Son of Surya, is a member of
their foursquare lineage, is the Messiah of the Jews, and is the one who was
crucified. Since they refer to those descriptions as `predictions', they
apparently feel that text was written before, rather than well after, the
Appearances and Disappearances of those folk.

I have no idea which Sanskrit words were used in that Purana for `Messiah',
for `Jews', and for `crucified.' None of the men who mention the text have
specified if they have read it for themselves or if they are quoting their
sect's opinion on Purana. To that end I request any reader who can to please

post the complete verses from Bhavishya Purana which so reveal these wondrous
facts.

Thanks
