Daljit Singh:

You're a prime example of a Sikh who is lead the wrong way! First of all, you should know what the meaning of a Sikh is, Who is a Sikh? What you said makes no sense whatsoever. God is ONE.. Hindus and Sikhs are not different. Sikhism is a sect of the Hindu dharm, it brings Hinduism to the modern age. There is no difference between us and them. Ya everyone has there own ways of practicising things.. even in our own Sikh practice there are ppl who don't do all the things a Sikh is supposed to. It is human nature to reject things that don't suit our nature. Everything that is written all books are the SAME. YOu may or not believe this but read up and LEARN brother because you're not gonna go too far in life if you think that there is a difference between you and a Hindu.

Later.

: Pitty you think that, but your not a Sikh so I guess all you can do is JUST postulate. I am a Sikh, and every day in the daily prayer a Sikh preforms he/she says,

: 'Ram, Raheem, Puran, Quran, aneek khain, mat ek na janeeo'

: Whether it be Ram, raheem the puran or the quran, many say, but I believe in none.

: Sikhism is distict from Hindhuism, to be a Sikh you must reject hindhuism. It would be contradictory to practise Sikhism and say your are Hindhu, your every day pray will tell you this,

: 'Gur Isher Gur Gorakh Brahma, Gur parbati mai, je hau jana akha NAI kehna khathn na jaee'

: The Guru is also Isher, bhrama and parbati , I have no need to follow in these thinks'

: and most importantly...the very first line in the Guru Granth Sahib is

: 'IK ONkar'

: Thus, Sikhs do not believe in the fundementals of hindhuism, and I think that Hindhus should wake up to this and accept Sikhism, if they find similarities that make Sikhism undistinguishable from Hindhuism, then accept SIKHISM as your faith, read what the Guru says to..take amrit.

: : I do think that "Hinduism" and "Sikhism" are not seprate religion. As we know that 'Dharm' doesn,t mean religion. Most appripriate word for 'religion' is 'sampradaya'. We can get the complete definition of Dharma from 'Shrimad Bhagwat Gita'.In nuttshell that is a way of life, responsibilities of people means best way to lead life.In other words we can say that 'what we must do(our duties)'.

: : Sikisim is nothing but one sect of Hinduism like Budhism,Jainism...... . Actually people call the 'sanatanis' by the name of hindu which also a part of Hinduism. Hinduism is altogether a big domain comprises of all these.

: : I think like this.Sorry, If it hurts anybody's feelings. But my intention is not that. I am just expressing my ideas.
