Dear Friend:
May you have God's presence awakened in you. I read part of your post
about Baba Muktananda. I do not know either you or the Baba, and can not
share the disappointment/pain that you obviously experience now.
I would be wrong if I were to engage in second guessing you or the
Baba, but I can certainly quote a verse from the Srimad Bhagavad Gita, that
has been called as the desciption of the Jivan-mukta.
SparshAn kritvA vahirvArhyamschakshuchoivantare bhruboh.
PrAnApAnou samou kritvA nAsAbhyantarachArinou. 5.27
YatendriyamanobuddhirmunimokshaparAyanah.
Vigatechhabhayakrodho yah sadA mukta eva sah. 5.28
(Extricating all external issues, fixing sight between the eye-brows,
stilling the exhale and inhale air in nasal passage, the Sage whose
goal is salvation and is desireless and fearless, and has restrained
senses, mind and intellect, is always liberated (Sada-mukta).)
With best regards,
Dhruba.
