Dalit christians took out a massive procession and held a public meeting in
Kottayam, Keral seeking reservation for converted christains. Bishop Peter
Thuruthikonam, Bishop Sam Mathew, P.C. Thomas, MP, Peter Uralil, Rev Thomas
Philip and other spoke.
Keral congress member, Mr. P.C. Thomas said that PM Rao had assured
Christain leaders of the All-India United Christians Movement for Equal
Rights and National Coordination Committee for SC christians a bill would
be introduced in Parliament and demanded it should be done wihtout any
further delay.
