It is easy to recognize the following pattern:

1. Some people who call themselves scientists cannot explain
certain observations using the subjects they learned in school
(which they refer to as "science");

2. As a result, they assign terms such as perceived miracles, acts
of faith, dreams, scams, fraud, etc., to the observations;

3. Since the unexplained (by them) observations have now been given
the labels described in item 2 above, it is easier for them to
legitimize the limited "science" becuase the observations are now
illegitimate.

4. These people then make statements such as, "We proved that the
observations are a fraud, or must be so."

Actually, all they appear to have demonstrated is that they do not
possess the knowledge to explain the mechanics of the phenomena.
