Namaskaar! If the the time of birth is to be used for the
calculation of the Janm Kundali and other Jyotish, Vedic astrology
charts then permit me to make these comments: the Jyotishi
considers all given birth times to be approximate, ball-park
figures and uses them only as starting points for a series of
calculations known as "rectification of birth time." Several sets
of charts may be erected before the final version appears. This
version uses a calculated "beginning epoch" rather than the given
birth time.
