Re: Where the SRH Reorg Discussion Isn't (was: Re: Administrivia: Where TheReorganization Discussion Should Be) (fwd)

Well, after the second time the issue was raised, and after the second
instance of the "vanishing posts", Ajay looked into the matter and
determined the problem - his posting script was _not_ adding
soc.religion.hindu to the newsgroups line in the case of my posts and
Shrisha's posts (and any other post where a newsgroups line was
already present), so therefore, the articles were _not_ getting posted
to SRH, but instead were being diverted to other newsgroups.

Now that this matter has been settled, I just wanted to state that
although I do not blame Ajay for this problem with the posting
scripts, I wish the matter had been paid more attention when the
claims were first made, and I wish a clarification was posted with the
same vehemence in which my "emotional outburst" was chided.

My first posting attributed this problem to a temporary lapse in
judgement on Ajay's part, but my second posting stated that I had
reconsidered, and I assumed that there was a problem instead with his
system. I am glad to see that it was the second of the two scenarios,
but I wish that the resolution of the problem had taken place in the
open rather than through the mail, especially in light of the
following statement:
