The One Kshara Purusha
Dear Friends:
As you are aware that in the Srimad Bhagavad Gita, in chapter 15, Sri
Krishna describes the three Purushas of God. He said that he Himself is
the Uttama Purusha (simultaneously Transcendental and Immanent) as well
as separately as Transcendental Akshara Purusha (Asat, Tat, Self, Nirguna
Brahman) and Immanent Kshara Purusha. Since God is Immanent in
innumerable vibhutis (partial list in SBG ch.10) as Purusha, it appears
to me that they are transfigured forms of the One Kshara Purusha, who was
sacrificed for the creation of the world (Purusha Sukta, RigVeda).
Therefore, the Kshara Purusha is none other than the First Born,
Hiranyagarbha.
With best regards,
Dhruba.
