When Adi Sankara came along, wasn't a large portin of India Buddhist?
Now, we don't see many Buddhists...does it not mean that there must have been
some kind of conversion?
Also, when Ramanuja came along, most of the people in India were Advaitins,
and so there must have been some kind of 'conversion' into Vaishnavism,too.
