Dear Sam, and others:
The point of the Request for Discussion (RFD) phase is
exactly that -- a request for discussion. We are in
the midst of a public discussion of the merits of the
reorganization plan. There is no way we can compromise
without coming to a consensus on the merits or demerits
of the specific elements of the RFD, without Ajay's
cooperation in publicly discussing these issues.
So far, Ajay has refused to do so. I cannot guess why,
but we cannot proceed without such a public discussion.
Usenet works by consensus, and there is no way we can
have ``backroom'' deals. This needs to be out in the
open since we all wish to have the best Hinduism newsgroup
possible.
