Re: Peaceful compromise on the Horizon
after posting the article, i got within a few hours eleven
email messages from different universities. the summary of
all the eleven messages is same (it is *not* a case of email
spam). *none* of them i knew before, and they are just readers
of srh and not participants of the debate that i know of.
The message, as one person politely put it, is like this:
Attha sommu alludua d`aanam che`saduta [telugu]
[son-in-law gave away in charity -- his *mother-in-law's*
property!]
Well, the stories i wrote were meant to be just for fun.
i am aware that i have not sought or obtained authorisation
from any of the parties or individuals (proponents or opponents
of the RFD), as i made clear in my article. i just based it
on the *indications* as *i* perceived from the posts.
i *do* admit that i do not have locus-standi to propose
what a regular srh'er should only have proposed - whether
or not they are the supporters, opponents or makers of the RFD.
As i stated in the begining, i am attracted to s.r.h. only
through RFD, and thus am a stranger. thanks for the reader
who reminded me this.
and more over, as most emailers chided, i am watering down
the months of hard work and sincere efforts of RFD makers.
my apologies, if you too feel the same way as the emailers
did.
so let me put this way: what all I as an *individual* and a
potential srh reader/contributer will like to see are:
(1) separation of garbage from the religious and spiritual
discussion to make srh at least as palatable as srs and srv
(2) reduction in moderation times and disputes.
thanks for the attention.[apoloties to anyone who might
have been hurt during the debate. *nothing* personal from
my side]

p.s. i have no bad feelings against the messages.
