I don't understand what you mean by the above at all, since on the
FIRST PAGE of the Global Hindu Electronic Network, it says
"GHEN is sponsored by Hindu Students Council"
and then later
"GHEN also sponsors Soc.Religion.Hindu, Alt.Hindu, Hindu Digest."
You can verify this for yourself by looking at

It's not a matter of "what I manage[d]" to do or not - it's a simple
statement of fact, and I don't see why you find it so objectionable.
Check the address mentioned, and verify those statements if you'd
like. They were there when I mentioned them earlier, and they are
there now as of this writing.

Before you chant this line again, perhaps you should check your
facts. The only reason any of this came up was to see what the current
definition of Hindu was with regard to soc.religion.hindu. That is
all. See my other note, which elaborates on this.

As I mentioned earlier, I am on good terms with a number of HSC
people, and I got a note yesterday from one who will be helping to get
a chapter started at Rice. If you'd like, I can ask him what he thinks
about it.
