I have heard and realized that bondage and salvation are both within self.

Yup, amazing at how often Arjuna forgets. I have a hunch that tete a tete
picnic at Dharmakshetra was not spoken in verse, cuz folks do not talk in
verse, except in memory or on stage. As lovely as Gita is, I believe that
Arjuna took more than a few hours to grok YOGA, even though he was the
best of attentive students. My personal experience is that even the best
student sometimes forgets. (Remember how Krishna days later told him to get
down from the chariot first, and Arjuna balked?)
I AM THE MASTER HERE, YOU ARE BUT MY DRIVER. YOU GET DOWN FIRST!
That does not sound like a stithaprajnani to me.
(But then, neither do I).
So, better than to chant, and be happy, it's best to be happy with chance.
