Re: TOO MANY HINDU TEMPLES IN U.S.
Temples are indeed necessary for spiritual (not religious, since
religion as meant in non Sanaatani sects cannot provide the
correct meaning of Dharma - Duty -) awareness:
However the temples are these days ment for those who do not want
to want to really live a meaning life by offering help to the
needy. Did Mahatma Gandhi, Swami Vivekanand, Guru Govind Sing or
Guru Nanak ever think of living inside the temple. I think no.
They actually worked very hard to keep the HUMANITY ALIVE by
offering every help to every needy. They were the people of
VISION.
Today, unfortunately, our Sadhus and Swaamis are more interested
in high flying and traveelin in the west in big high speed cars.
They have created various Sampradaays thus constructively
deviding the Sanaatan (HindU) dharma. Has any Sadhu thought of
going on hunger strike for INDIA eg removal of the cyrruption, or
womens right, removal of untouchability, real education etc. Not
yet. They are mainly interested in their own Sampradaays. One
saint would not even go to a temple of the other. WHY THEN SO
MANY TEMPLES?
If at all we need temples then we should have a truely SANAATAN
MANDIR, without associating aby name of aby sampradaay's with it.
Let us teach our children about Hinduism, not about a sampradaay
