a) Could you find me the location of such "Hindu Precept"? I'm not
aware of anything which says "a person who hurts sentient beings
will never be blessed by God", but I might be wrong. After all,
I specifically recall this warrior being told to go out and kill
a bunch of his relatives somewhere. Oh, that's right - it was in
the Bhagavad Gita, and guess what? God gave the command. It seems
to me that the above claim of a "Hindu Precept" is more of a
goodwill token than a real foundation. I'll explain more in the
next few points.
b) look at my other post on this subject which shows just how connected
she is to Hinduism. Every time she mentions major religions on her
web site, Hinduism is _not_ mentioned.
c) even if she is _vaguely_ related to Hinduism, do you feel that she
is therefore _directly relevant_. If not, congratulations on picking
a nit.
d) it's no major surprise that many branches of Buddhism, even in
China, are strictly vegetarian. Given that she has _many_ ties
to Buddhism, it's not surprising to see that her group is
vegetarian. This does not, however, make her Hindu.
e) Did you honestly find anything in that article which is _directly_
relevant to Hinduism? Like I said, she seems like a nice person,
and I've met some of her followers, who were also very nice people.
However, the approach of the web pages is far more like the
Unification Church in their world view than Hinduism.

Perhaps you should go around screaming about how she's a cult. After
all, they are listed at http://www.ex-cult.org, and once again, you're
being inconsistent.
However, I did dine at a Quan Yin restaurant, and I would happily
recommend it - the dishes are vegan and quite good. What is
potentially disturbing is their mock meat - they go to great lengths
to disguise the fact that it's not meat, and it can scare many
veggies.
