HKSji, Thanks very much for your explanation. In case you believe all
the 18 puraaNa-s were originally one, why do you accept some puraaNa-s and
reject some others as tamsic etc ? If all puraaNa-s {which was 1} is
the fifth veda, then all of them should be equally valid, like we don't
say that yajur veda is superior to sama veda.
Thanks for your answers in advance since I am sure that the
vaishnava acharyas have addressed this point.
