Well, I'm glad to see that you're at least allowing the possibility
these days that the srh-stats page,
http://www-ece.rice.edu/~vijaypai/srh-stats.html
contains the truth. I don't wish to reopen the whole issue of how
the data was gathered - a detailed explanation is available on that
page. However, I would humbly request that if you wish to keep on
trying to question the veracity of the proponents that you at least
be good enough to read that explanation and explain in detail why
you believe it's not correct. Please don't respond to this note with
your "3 points" again which I've shown to be false.

On a side note, I'm glad to see that my prediction that faster
turnaround time between moderation events would result in more
articles has proven true. Now, if only the issue of consistency
would be addressed, I'd be bowled over.

P.S. May we be informed about the status of the last "Administrativia"
point about forcing this group to be English-only? Also, I believe
I had asked what the process was for raising Administrativia issues
(which effectively change the newsgroup's charter) and who could
do that. Could you please provide that information or show me where
     such information can be found?

P.P.S. On a side note, whenever I tried accessing these files in the
past, I used to get the "403 Forbidden" message, and I assumed
that these files were not meant for public viewing. Had I known
earlier that the archives were intentionally taken off-line to
be replaced with these files, I would've pointed this out. Oh well.
