Thanks for your answer, HKSji. As far as i know, advaita philosophy
does not consider even jivan-muktas equal to Ishvaras. That is, a jivan-mukta
is not Krishna, VishhNu or Shiva, he is just I [based on my understanding].
HKSji, if the answer to my question was so simple, why did you
post this following article in SRV ? Maybe you were ignorant then [by your
own statement, see below] and later, you became aware of all this. This also
doe snot explain why when Gaudapada prayed to Lord VishhNu asking for a
philosophy, VishhNu preached advaita to Him. Gaudapada did not pray ;
'I don't want to give up my stubborn idea, i want to refuse devotional
service etc..'.

Article of HKSji from SRV :
I have an esoteric question for the Gaudiyas out there.
We usually say that Advaita Acharya is an incarnation of both Siva and
Maha-Vishnu.
My question is this: why is it necessary for Vishnu to combine with anyone?
That would seem to imply that He is not complete, which is obviously not the
case. One devotee once told me that it was
because Advaita Acharya had two moods wrt Lord Chaitanya - as an elder,
and as a devotee (hence the incarnation of Shiva). However, he also
admitted that he might be speculating on that, so that leaves me clueless
about this. It
also makes me wonder why Lord Krishna would incarnate as
Chaitanya, while again incarnating as Advaita Acharya through Maha-Vishnu.
What is the significance of the fact that Advaita
Acharya is an incarnation of Maha-Vishnu whereas Chaitanya is an incarnation
of Krishna? Is it because of a difference in Their moods?
On a related note, the Bhaagavatam states that Dattatreya was a combination of
Shiva, Brahma, and Vishnu who taught maayaavaadi philosophy. I don't
understand why it is necessary for Vishnu to combine with His devotees Shiva
and Brahma just to teach a misleading philosophy. Can any Gaudiyas give me
some insight into this?
ignorantly yours,
