Hindu Holidays for 1997
I am a publisher of a Multicultural Calendar that includes Hindu
festivals and holidays. We are now working on our academic year
version of the Calendar that goes from July 1996-June 1997. I
need to know the dates in North America in 1997 for the
following Hindu holidays: Mahashivaratri, Holi, Ramanavami; the
Jain holiday of Mahavir Jayanti; and the Sikh holidays of
Vaisakhi, and Guru Gobind Singh’s birthday.
If anyone has this information, I would appreciate getting it or
finding out where I can get it. I need it by February 22.
