While you are correct to say that Hindi is more Hindu than English is,
I cannot agree that loyalty to Hindu ideals must include acceptance of
Hindi. Sanskrit, perhaps, though there are few in this group who can
handle untranslated Sanskrit. 

There are many Hindus who do not speak Hindi. That they are not in the
majority is not relevant. To insist that postings in Tamil or any
other Indian language require translation but postings in Hindi do
not, seems to be out of line with the ideal of Sanathana Dharma.
