Re: Vedic scholarship in India

The perception of decline in Vedic Scholarship is easily fixed, by involving
ourselves. Of course, it is easier said than done, but the very fact
that such needs are felt by us, is a sure sign that it will be done.
After all, it is in God's design to revive the Sanatana Dharma. I make
this comment from reading the statements of various Sages. In Bengal,
Srimad SitArAmdAs OmkArnathji is another person who reinitiated Vedic
studies in the recent past. Among his disciples, Dr. Dhyaneshnaryan
Chakrabarty is one of the foremost, he was with the University of
Calcutta till recently.
