Hello:
I have a few questions regarding Kalki Avataar and Kalki Purana.
My curiosity regarding Kalki Purana was inspired by reading the
Book of Revelation (Bible, St. John) and the chapter on Kalki Purana
where the final end has been revealed and many call it as doomsday.
(I am not saying that these two contain similarities, except the
common description of the white horse / steed.)
According to the calculations when (what day/ time/ month etc.) shall
the Kalki avataar be born ? [ is it possible to translate the Vedic
calculations in modern Gregorian terms ?]
Where will he be born ? (In Sree Bhagavat, Vishnu-yaasha will be his
father and he will be born in the place called Shambhal.) I am curious
as to know is there any idea where this might be geographically located ?
How long shall Kalki reign ? (In modern calculations).
Incidentally Nostradamus describes this doomsday somewhere in the middle
of the next century. However, I am somewhat wary in accepting his prophecy.
Sree Bhagavat describes that the " yaabaans " (meaning Islamic terrorists)
shall time and again overrun the Hindus and other religious groups in the
Kashmir valley. There are other signs that have been described here: for
example it has been told that in the near-end of kali-yuga a person will
lose in a court because of his inability to spend money. Thus, falsehood
shall triumph.
These are interesting simply because of historical/ cultural reasons.
