Dear Debji:
In my humble opinion, nobody can tear apart our society but ourselves.
We will end up doing that if we slip into the darkness of ignorance, as
we were doing during the turn of the century.
I am curious, why you choose to call yourself " a good Samaritan".
A typical Samaritan practiced untouchability and serial monogamy
(perhaps not so much of marriage). One such untouchable was the lady who
had to come in high noon to fetch water from the well (others would come
in early morning or in late afternoon), from whom Jesus drank water. She
was a good Samaritan, may even rank among the very best of Samaritans, as
every Christian will testify. I do not know if even the best Samaritan
considered either untouchability or serial monogamy as anything else than
facts of normal life.
