Administrivia : Articles Containing Sexual Contents
Dear SRH Readers,
Saprem Namaskar.
Recently some of the readers of this newsgroup have submitted
articles that either describe sexual acts or talk primarily about
sexual preferences of some Hindu saint.
Keeping in mind that this forum is a family oriented forum, and
many younger readers read this forum for educational enrichment
and greater understanding of Hindu dharma, I have come to a
conclusion that this forum should be kept free of such articles,
so that the parents can whole heartedly recommend SRH to their children.
It is also prudent in view of the recent communications act passed
by the Congress.
As I have mentioned in the past, mere mention of Kama Sutra does not
mean that the article would be rejected, but an article whose main
purpose is to discuss sexual preferences or sexual acts are better
posted in a more adult oriented newsgroup.
I have checked with the moderators of all other newsgroups, and I have
been advised by most of the people who responded that, it is well
within my duty as a moderator to evolve rules such as these.
I am certain that the well wishers of this newsgroup will welcome
this new policy with enthusiasm.
I seek your cooperation in keeping this newsgroup "clean" and open to the
readers of all age groups, who seek to learn about Hindu dharma.
regards,
Ajay Shah
