It help me to understand that, ironically, "I" wasn't doing the thinking,
but, in fact, "I" was being thought. Does this make sense? This separate
"I" itself is composed of solidified thought and has no independent life
of its own. I think Ramana Maharshi called it "a barnacle" on the Self

Also worth contemplating is whether it is more likely there are 6 billion
(or whatever) separate minds or 6 billions outlets for one mind.
