The village of Ramnathi in Goa is home to a beautiful Vaishnava
shrine dedicated to Sri Ramnath. Ramnath here is not Sri Rama, but 
Shiva instead. During the siege of Lanka, Sri Rama is said to
have worshipped the jyotirlinga whence Shiva gets the name Ramnath
(i.e. Lord of Rama). Incidently, Ramnathi is home for the family
deity of almost all Konkanis with the last name "Pai":-)
