Age of the Rig Veda

I am working on a project regarding the age of the Vedas. Modern western
views date them to c. 1500BCE (the Rig veda). This is based on the
concept of the aryan invasion theory. New evidence suggest that the
aryans did not invade the indus valley c.2000BCE. It is suggested that
the aryans entered the indus valley much earlier and were in fact the
creators of the indus valley civilization. That would push the age of the
Vedic era much further back in time. This new time line is much more in
line with original indian views of their own history (as opposed to the
predominant western/british historical view).

What I am looking for in the counter-arguement to this new theory. I know
that it is very controversal at this time and there are many disagreeing
parties. However, I am having trouble locating a good source of reference
regarding this debate.

Any help is appreciated...thanks.
