It is most important to distinguish between these two. The question
about the nature and process of creation is valid, and is dealt in
great detail in many places within the Vedic literatures. But the
notion of the "origin of life" is oxymoronic, for the Vedas teach
that life is eternal. It is essential to separate matter from
spirit, and that is the purpose of most Vedic paths.
