I thought the post started off with Ajay Shah stating that posts alleging an
alternate identity for Dr Maharaj would not be allowed. I believe you protested
and the other issues like posts in Hindi etc. were also addressed. May be I'm
mistaken, in that case sorry.

I said I didn't like Srila Prabupada's translations and Jai Maharaj said that
he too did not like some of the translations (in a different context) and posted
this cosmography stuff (which later became a thread).

In this thread he posted excerpts from ase-c, I remember. I think Bon Giovanni
also posted some excerpts.

Well, lots of times people get quoted out of context. I think I was quoted out
of context by Jai, but it wasn't way off.

Well, I don't know who you mean by the original author. I guess Eric Pement
(sp?). As HKS and you pointed out, Eric may have misunderstood "concepts" like
the moon having a "soul" etc. However Bon Giovanni did not seem convinced by
your (or maybe Vijay's) arguments. In any case I plan to read that book (Vedic
Cosmography ...) over summer, and you can expect my comments on this matter in
about a month or so. A slightly late followup to that "Moon" thread, but it's
better to get things settled.
