I have seen both "toTaka" and "troTaka". This student is called Giri, in
the mAdhavIya Sankara vijayam. There is another work titled
"SrutisArasamuddhAraNa" by the same Sishya of Sankara's. This Giri is
not the same person as Anandagiri, who wrote sub-commentaries to
Sankara's bhAshyas. Anandagiri is a later author, who belongs to the
12th or 13th centuries CE (Common Era).
