i asked this question with the suspicion that one of the things cobra charming
was invented to symbolize was the act of raising the kundalini from the sacral
to the brow chakra; and, the only interpretations i've gotten thus far have
supported this interpretation.
i would still, however, be interested in finding any modern books or ancient
religious manuscripts that specifically associate the two and/or present
different interpretations.
