Power of the Mantra

I remember a very good quote , possibly from Kabir
Ram Ram sub koi kahe , Dashrath Kahe na koi
Ek bar Dashrath Kahe Koti yagya phal hoi
Regardless of whether there is power in the mantras or not , while
reciting these mantras most of the people think of everything else and
only thier tongue goes on wagging. If only everyone had followed the
ancient tradintions and values we wouled have been in much better shape
today. Making blanket comments like what it has done to the world is a
non issue.
