I like Winthrop Sargeant's translation a lot. The meaning of each word + the
details of the grammer are given for each word. There's a cheap paperback
(about $20) which is available widely. This is very useful, especially if you
are not well versed in sanskrit, since there are some commentaries floating
around, where each verse is tortured to death by twisting it as much as
possible. (Sargeant has used shrii Ramanuja's commentary extensively in his
translation)
Ofcourse, a good buy to get the message of the giita would be shaMkara's
commentary (personal opinion), which is available in the Vedanta book store. I
think they have shrii Ramanuja's bhaashhya also. I don't think they have shrii
aananda tiirtha's bhaashhya though. Perhaps some of the dvaitins might suggest
a place to buy this commentary, if that's your preference.
